The project SPRINGS - Supporting Policy Regulations and Interventions to Negate aggravated Global diarrheal disease due to future climate Shocks (Call HORIZON HLTH- 2023-ENVHLTH-02) is underway for studying diarrheal diseases and climate change.

Thanks to funding from Horizon Europe, the University of Naples Federico II (Profs. Laura Rinaldi, Ludovico Dipineto, Massimiliano Fabbricino), through the WHO Collaborating Centre ITA-116, is involved in the project coordinated by the University of Amsterdam.

The kick-off meeting is taking place in Naples from April 15th to 18th, 2024, with 40 partners from various countries (Italy, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, UK, Norway, Romania, Ghana, Tanzania, United States). SPRINGS presents a significant opportunity for the Departments of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production, and Civil, Building, and Environmental Engineering of Federico II, fostering collaboration with various partners in the holistic One Health approach.

"SOGNI CHE MERITANO DI VOLARE " EVENT

The World Health Organization's collaborating center for the diagnosis of intestinal parasites (ITA-116) participated at the event "Dreams that deserve to fly" organized by the University University of Naples Federico II in collaboration with GESAC (manager of the Campania airport system) and the Community of Sant'Egidio, together to support the right to education by funding scholarships scholarships for migrants and refugees. The event was held on 19/12/2023 at the UNINA convention center.
